At Groomer Has It, we are deeply committed to making your dog’s grooming experience as safe, comfortable, and stress-free as possible. We always put your pet’s overall experience and health above all else. For these reasons, we have the following policies in place. If you have a question or concern, please contact us.
Service Agreement
Signature Required Once By Pet Owner For Duration of Grooming Relationship
Health
I understand that grooming can be stressful to some pets and I will inform the groomer if my pet has any heart conditions or any stress related issues prior to grooming. I also understand that it is necessary to have my pet up-to-date with all vaccinations prior to every grooming. Groomer Has It does not accept pets with flea infestations, under any circumstances.
Behavior
I understand that I must inform Groomer Has It if my pet bites, has bitten, or is aggressive to people, other pets or specific grooming procedures. Muzzles may be used if necessary. (Muzzling will not harm the pet and will protect both the pet and the groomer). Groomer Has It reserves the right to refuse and/or stop services for any pet at any time before or during the grooming process if aggressive behavior cannot be controlled during grooming.
Coat Condition
Dogs that come in matted require extra time, patience, and attention. I understand that the groomer may have to shave the mats out rather than perform a painful demanding procedure. Groomer has it will not instill pain on any dog for the sake of a haircut. I understand that severe matting can only be humanely removed by shaving the pet, which can potentially cause nicks, cuts, scrapes, etc. All attempts will be made to prevent this, however in some cases, it is unavoidable. I understand there may be extra charges for this as it is hard on both my groomer and my pet. By receiving this service, I acknowledge the risks associated with this process. In extreme pelted cases I may need to pay double the grooming price or I may be referred to a vet.
Accidents
I understand that while accidents are rare, there is always a risk when working with pets and grooming tools. I understand that tools are sharp, and although Groomer Has It uses extreme caution in all situations, this is a moving animal. Possible risks, including nicks, cuts, scratches, and the quickening of nails, can occur. In the unlikely event that an accident does occur, I understand that I will be called immediately to be notified of such incident.
Photographs & Videos
I understand that by booking a service with Groomer Has It, I DO___ DO NOT___ consent to company representatives photographing or capturing video of my dog during services performed for possible use with the company’s marketing. I further agree that this allows me no rights of inspection, use, ownership, or copyright, and I waive any right to any compensation for any image or video used.
Pick Up
I understand that Groomer Has It does it’s very best to ensure a cage-free and stress-free atmosphere for their furry clients and staff. For this reason, I understand that all pets must be picked up within 15 minutes of agreed upon time unless previously discussed and approved. Any late pick up without prior notification agreed upon by staff will be $1 per minute until my pet is picked up.
Cancellations & No-Shows
I understand that if I need to change or cancel my appointment time, I must give at least a 24-hour notice so that the appointment time can be made available to another client who is on the waiting list. Failure to do so will result in a charge equal to 50% of my scheduled service amount. Groomer has it understands that emergencies happen, but if I am unreachable at the time of my scheduled grooming appointment and the grace period of 15 minutes has passed, that I will be considered a “no-show” and be charged 100% of the reserved service amount, as the groomer’s revenue is lost. This will automatically be charged to the card provided by myself on file.
Weather
I understand that in the event of extreme inclement weather in which there are hazardous driving conditions, I will be contacted by Groomer Has It in order to reschedule my appointment as soon as possible.
Payment
I understand that payment is due at the time a service is completed. I also understand that the listed pricing is only an estimate and may be adjusted at the time of or during the grooming process if discoveries are made that make extra care or work required for my pet. I also understand there is a $35 non-sufficient funds/returned check charge and I will be placed on a cash only basis thereafter.
Customer releases Groomer Has It Pet Salon & Spa, its agents, officers, sub-contractors, and employees from any and all liabilities, financial, and otherwise, for injuries to Customer, Customer’s pet(s), or any other property of Customer, which arise in any way from services and/or products provided by or as a consequence of Customer’s association with Groomer Has It Pet Salon & Spa including, but not limited to, veterinarian bills. I, the undersigned, have read and understand and agree to the above terms and my rights and obligations for the grooming and maintenance of my pet(s) and in consideration of the grooming services of Groomer Has It Pet Salon & Spa.
